Pricing & Billing FAQ's

Session Fees
Our standard rate is $100 per 60-minute individual psychotherapy session. Payment is due at the time of your appointment.

A Note on Insurance
We choose not to contract directly with insurance companies. While this requires an upfront investment, it allows us to protect your privacy and give you full control over your care.

  • Your information stays private. Insurance companies require a formal mental health diagnosis that becomes a permanent part of your medical record. Paying out-of-pocket keeps your information strictly between us.

  • You run your treatment, not an insurance company. Insurance providers often limit how many sessions you can have or what we can focus on. Working outside that system means we decide together what your therapy looks like based entirely on your needs.

  • Clear, upfront costs. Dealing with shifting deductibles and unexpected bills is stressful. With a flat private-pay rate, you always know exactly what you are paying ahead of time.

If your insurance plan has out-of-network benefits, we can provide a monthly statement (called a Superbill) for you to submit to your provider for potential reimbursement. We recommend calling your insurance company beforehand to see what your specific plan covers.

Arizona Telehealth Notices

  • Location Requirements: To receive care, you must be physically located within the state of Arizona at the time of our telehealth session, in compliance with state licensing laws.

  • Crisis Care: Telehealth is not a substitute for emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, healthcare providers must give clients who do not use insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical items and services, including psychotherapy.

  • You have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of your therapy.

  • We will provide this estimate to you in writing at least one business day before your first scheduled session. You can also ask for an estimate before you schedule an appointment.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the legal right to dispute the bill.

  • For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, you can visit the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services or call the No Surprises Help Desk at 1-800-985-3059
